STAVROS NIARCHOS FOUNDATION

THE OFFICE brought two Theater of War productions to the Summer Nostos Festival at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, in 2017 and 2018, and we are now engaged by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) as a programming consultant for the Summer Nostos Festival, which takes place in Athens every June. The SNF is one of the world’s leading private, international philanthropic organizations, making grants to nonprofit organizations in the areas of arts and culture, education, health and sports, and social welfare. SNF funds organizations and projects worldwide that aim to achieve a broad, lasting, and positive impact for greater society, and exhibit strong leadership and sound management. The Foundation also supports projects that facilitate the formation of public-private partnerships as an effective means for serving public welfare.

Designed by the architectural firm Renzo Piano Building Workshop (RPBW), the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) is a sustainable, world-class cultural, educational and recreational urban complex that includes new facilities for the National Library of Greece and the Greek National Opera, located within the Stavros Niarchos Park.

The Summer Nostos Festival (SNFestival) is an international multifaceted arts, sports and education festival. Admission is free for all, and the festival is addressed to visitors of all age groups and interests, aspiring to become a friendly, creative platform where people can get together, express themselves and exchange ideas. Every June, the week-long SNFestival invites us to travel back to our favorite summers, guided by music, dance and melodies, stories and laughter, exercise and play, and live yet another unforgettable beginning of summer!
